In 2020, Lincoln added the compact Corsair to its limited but well-curated lineup. By doing this, they offer luxury lovers and Lincoln loyalists access to a model with highly maneuverable dimensions, solid fuel economy, and all of the sophistication we love from this brand.
We here at Premier Lincoln have welcomed many in search of a Lincoln Corsair for sale—and with all-wheel drive capabilities, intuitive technology, a stunning cabin, and a beautiful exterior, what’s not to love about it? We haven’t even yet mentioned that its starting price sits below $40k, which is a boon for such a high-end brand.
Lincoln remains true to its personality by keeping the trim lineup short but thoughtful. You will find everything you need throughout the three levels of the Corsair—the Premiere, Reserve, and Grand Touring—but what we really love about this vehicle is the customization possibilities; for each trim, you can choose from a menu of “collections” that will give you a different set of standard perks, ranging from technology to comfort and convenience features.
If you aren’t sure which trim will fit your preferences, come by Premier Lincoln, and we’ll show you around the modern and striking features of the Corsair. Here is but a look at what makes each trim unique:
The Premiere
This entry-level trim is an excellent value because it gives you access to a lot of the upper trim features, but you can keep things simple if you'd like.
The Essentials
Lincoln has retained the same powertrain from the 2023 model, built around a 2.0L Turbo I-4 engine; this gets you 22 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway (for 25 MPG combined) in front-wheel drive, or 21 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway (for 24 MPG combined) in all-wheel drive. The great highway fuel economy makes this a terrific option for commuters who want to spend less time at the gas pump.
Another standard feature is the second-row sliding seats. These can glide forward or back nearly six inches each way, so you can create extra legroom for tall passengers or create extra cargo room when you need it. Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.1 is standard here, too; this is Lincoln’s generous suite of driver assistance features, including intelligent adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, and other safety-enhancing features.
Standard Perks
What impresses us at our Lincoln dealership the most about the Corsair is that its starting-level trim has some standard features you’d probably associate with upper trims. Some of these include active noise control, which will keep the cabin quiet and peaceful, turning it into your oasis after a long day in the city. You’ll also enjoy standard remote start capabilities, allowing you to start your ignition (and climate control) from your smartphone before even getting in the vehicle.
A three-year trial of the connected built-in navigation comes standard, too; this means you will always find directions to where you’re going, even if your phone is almost out of charge or beyond the reach of service. The starting audio system is already a stunner, too, with nine speakers placed throughout the cabin for a top music-listening experience.
Lincoln BlueCruise 1.2
As a part of Collection III of any of the trims, drivers will enjoy Lincoln BlueCruise 1.2, Lincoln’s hands-free driving technology; this allows drivers to drive hands-free (while keeping their eyes on the road) on freeways. It even takes over lane changing and handles in-lane repositioning. If you travel long distances on freeways and could use a break from gripping the steering wheel, you’ll really enjoy this feature.
Premiere Collections
We mentioned the menu of collections earlier; these are special packages of features you can choose to make your Corsair even better. For the Premiere trim, there are three collections:
Collection I: This gets you a power liftgate, 18-inch wheels, and a powerful turbocharged engine.
Collection II: This gets you Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.1 Vision, which adds a 360-degree front camera, front and side parking sensors, and reverse brake assist to your suite of driver assistance features. It also gets you 60/40-split EasyFold second-row seats for even more cargo configurability.
Collection III: This gets you Lincoln’s hands-free semi-autonomous driving mode, Lincoln BlueCruise 1.2, which takes over steering, braking, and accelerating on hundreds of thousands of compatible highways across North America. It also gets you a panoramic glass roof and a 14-speaker audio system from Revel.
Four Drive Modes
Every Corsair enjoys four drive modes: Normal, Excite, Conserve, and Slippery. You can select your mode via a simple knob in the center front console. Normal is ideal for everyday driving in the city and suburbs. Excite gets you enhanced performance dynamics. Conserve will save fuel, and Slippery gets you traction on wet roads. Regardless of which trim you select, you’ll enjoy this feature.
The Reserve
The Reserve is the mid-level trim, gaining drivers access to some more luxury features not available in the Premiere.
One of our favorite available features for this trim is the 24-position driver seat. We believe every driver can find that perfect position with this highly adjustable seat—plus, it’s heated, ventilated, and has five massage settings. Note, too, that this trim also has three Collections:
Collection I: This gets you beautiful leather seats and ambient lighting for a welcoming and stylish cabin you’ll love sliding into after a long day. Plus, it has 19-inch bright-machined aluminum wheels with magnetic-painted pockets for a striking aesthetic.
Collection II: This is everything in Collection I as well as a hands-free liftgate, allowing you to easily load up the trunk when your hands are full. It also adds a wireless charging pad, so you can leave the USB cords at home. Collection II on this trim also enjoys Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.1 Vision.
Collection III: This gets you everything found in Collection II, plus Lincoln’s hands-free driving mode, Lincoln BlueCruise 2.1, in addition to a head-up display. Plus, with this collection, you get a panoramic glass roof, the 14-speaker Revel audio system, and Auto Air Refresh, Lincoln’s system that removes smog, dust, allergens, and other particles from the air while also eliminating the smell of fumes and other pollution.
Grand Touring
If you want a plug-in hybrid Corsair, you’ll want the Grand Touring trim. It enjoys Lincoln’s PHEV technology as well as standard all-wheel drive, so you’ll benefit from phenomenal fuel economy and traction on a variety of road surfaces. These are the two most popular features of the Grand Touring and the most common reasons our shoppers select this trim.
Being a New York area dealership, we see that the PHEV Corsair is highly popular here because it contributes fewer fumes. As for its collections, they don’t differ much from the Reserve:
Collection I: This gets you a panoramic glass roof, continuously variable automatic transmission, plug-in hybrid technology, and all-wheel drive.
Collection II: This has all that Collection I has and adds a hands-free liftgate, wireless charging pad, and Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.1.
Collection III: This contains all the standard features of Collection II while adding a 14-speaker Revel Audio System, head-up display, Auto Air Refresh, and Lincoln BlueCruise 1.2.
